Eco-Fit Challenge 2009
2nd Annual Michigan City Eco-Fit Challenge

The Michigan City Eco-Fit Challenge is a one of a kind, environmentally friendly, multi-sport event that will give participants the chance to run, paddle and play beach volleyball into the sunset & help raise money for education grants. Canoeists, kayakers, runners, beach volleyball players and environmental enthusiasts are invited to participate.

This very unique and exciting event includes the following multi and individual sport races:

17th Annual 8K Tower Run or 5K Walk (9:00am Start)
·
8K Sea Kayak on Lake Michigan (10:15am Start)
·
Canoe on the Trail Creek tributary (1:00pm Start)
·
Beach Volleyball on the sands of Lake Michigan (Only part of the Crazy Tri, start approx. 1:00pm)
·
Biathlon - 8K Run & 8K Sea Kayak
·
Crazy Tri - 8K Run, 8K Sea Kayak and Doubles Beach Volleyball

Event Organizers
Tower, a local nonprofit organization, the Trail Creek Watershed Committee and the producers of the EVP National Tour have teamed up to create this very unique and exciting event for the Michigan City area.
